The Belfast String Quartet
The Belfast String Quartet is probably the finest quartet in Ireland today with over twenty years of experience in weddings and corporate events and with exceptional experience in providing music for large events.
The Belfast String Quartet, composed entirely of members of and players with, the Ulster Orchestra. The players have performed on stage as quartet members, individuals or with the orchestra, alongside many great artists including Pavarotti, Carreras, Domingo, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa , Katherine Jenkins, George Benson, Rod Stewart, Texas, Phil Coulter, Belle & Sebastian and most recently with Duke Special, Foy Vance and Julie Feeney on BBC television and radio and Flash Harry at the Odyssey.
We have performed on tour as quartet members, individuals or with the orchestra in many countries, including: Hong Kong, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain and Russia
Elektra, Irelands premier electric string quartet is the electric version of the Belfast String quartet and most suited to large functions such as large Wedding receptions and Corporate events. We have performed at some of the most prestigious corporate events in Ireland including the Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards at the Waterfront hall, Invest Northern Ireland at the Transport Museum ,on board the Golden Princess, for Bank of Ireland in the Great Hall at Queens and most recently, to great critical acclaim, a series of performances at Victoria Square.
